Amanda has always had a passion for helping others, but it wasn’t until her own struggles juggling a career and motherhood that she realized her true calling. After a more than 20 year career in marketing, she returned to school to achieve her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University. Amanda is a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Michigan. Amanda is an active member in the American Counseling Association and Postpartum Support International.
Amanda works with adults at all ages and stages of their journey, believing in the importance of normalizing how challenging life can be and providing a non-judgmental space to allow for clarity, healing, and growth.
Using an integrative approach customized to the individual, Amanda works with various techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
