Here to hold the mother.
Modern motherhood is tough, and so often it feels like we’re doing it alone. You need the space to breathe, to finish that sentence, to know you’re not the only one that feels like this. We see a future where the mental health struggles of mothers postpartum are recognized, validated, and treated with seriousness and gentleness.
Whether you’re in the 4th trimester or your kiddo is in the 4th grade (or beyond!), we invite you to our free group to help navigate the various transitions that motherhood brings in a non-judgmental environment. Facilitated by a board-certified counselor (LPC) and meeting Mondays 9:15 to 11:30 a.m., this free support group is open to all moms in Birmingham and surrounding communities.
What you’re feeling is normal. You don’t have to do it alone.
Group meets on Mondays 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the lounge at St. James, located in the heart of downtown Birmingham. We are paused for the holiday, but look forward to restarting in January 2025.
The group is free to attend. Please sign up below to be informed on when we will be restarting.
Babies are welcome, but no judgement if you just need a few minutes to yourself.
